Mrs. Kessner

Laura Hammer Kessner was born in Shelby, Montana on May 31st. She has 1 brother and 2 sisters, but she also has 2 kids of her own. Cody who is now 17 and a Junior in school, and Kelsey who is now 13 and in the Eighth Grade. Kessner is married to Brian Kessner who works as a deputy for the Carbon County Sheriff's Department. She attended North Toole County High School and went to college at MSU Bozeman (GO BOBCATS!). Attending MSU Bozeman she recieved a bachlors degree in Business education. Kessner is a two time breast cancer survivor. She contributes her on going success to her very supportive family. She is especially thankful to her husband Brian for keeping her on track during her recovery. The students at the Roberts School were also very supportive and encouraging during her recovery. Kessner says, "Cancer is not the worst thing that she has faced during her life. It has just been a road with a lot of big bumps and drop-offs. Somedays there were even cliffs!"
