Roberts Superintendent Jeff Bermes

Jeff Bermes joined the Roberts School District July 2005. Born in Billings, Montana, on September 29, 1970, he was raised on a farm in Rapelje.  He graduated Rapelje High School in 1989.  His undergrad work was done in Bozeman and at MSU Billings.  He graduated with an elementary education degree.  He went on to the U of M in Missoula to obtain his master's degree in 2005.

While attending college in Bozeman he met Bonnie Beulenhorst from Park City.  They were married in 1991 and have two sons - Ty, 11, and Terryn, 9.

When asked for some of his preferences, he said that those listed below are some of his favorites:

Sport:  Basketball and football
Movie:  Dances with Wolves
Actor:  Harrison Ford
Actress:  Julia Roberts
Soft Drink:  Diet Pepsi
Food:  T-bone steak
Car:  '65 Mustang or '69 Camaro

He says he enjoys raising animals (two horses are coming with the family to live at their new Roberts home) and likes to hunt, fish and camp outdoors.  He describes himself as thoroughly organized and as a 'team player'.  He says he sees his role as superintendent as to 'be there to provide educational opportunities for the kids.'
