Elizabeth Ashmore was born in Detroit, Michigan, on
May 17. She graduated from Sherdan High School, and went on to study
at MSU-Billings. In 1976 she married Ken Kaufman taking his name and
becoming Liz Kaufman. In 1987 Ken and Liz bought land outside of Roberts
and began ranching. Liz has 4 children that have attended or are still
attending Roberts School. In 1997 she took the position of the assistant
cook at Roberts School. Her hobbies include gardening, cooking, and
sewing. Some of her favorites include:
